Obituary: David Tamulevich, 72, of Branford

A Navy veteran, electrician, and volunteer firefighter, he was also a Branford Elks, Indian Neck Yacht Club​ and Marchegian Club​ member.

David Tamulevich of Branford passed away in his home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. He was the husband of Margaret (Peggy) Roche Tamulevich. He was the father of Kyle Tamulevich (Marta) of Branford and Sarah Bradley (Eric) of East Haven and Jenny Tamulevich. He was the brother of John (Jack) Tamulevich of Branford and Sandra Lazeski of Florida. He is also survived by his grandsons, Jacob, Theodore, and Samuel. David was born in Branford on July 25, 1951, a son of John and Marion Link Tamulevich.

After graduating from Branford High School, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a licensed electrician and also a Glazier Foreman for Massey’s Glass in Branford. He was a Volunteer Fireman for Company One in Branford for many years. He was also a member of the Branford Elks Club, the Indian Neck Yacht Club, and the Marchegian Club in New Haven and Guilford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 at St. Mary Church of St. John Bosco Parish in Branford. Burial will be private. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.
