Obituary: Diane Frances Guerra, 85, formerly of Branford, Madison
She had a selfless, nurturing spirit, and spent the majority of her career at Bank of America, forming lifelong friendships along the way.
Diane Frances Guerra, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024 at the age of 85 with her family around her at Yale New Haven Hospital. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Patricia Bentivogli, Claire Seifert, Gail Jewell, her sister-in-law Camille DeRiso, her three children Patti Guerra, Joe Guerra, and Barb Guerra-Jankowski, her two Grandchildren Sam and Jac Guerra, her Daughter-in-Law Lisa Guerra, her Son-in-Law Ron Jankowski, and all who knew her. Diane was preceded in death by her brothers Jack Farrow, Joe Farrow, and Paul Farrow.
Born on June 7, 1938 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of John and Doris Farrow. She recently resided in Middlefield, CT via Branford, CT via Madison, CT. Diane’s unwavering love and dedication to her family and friends defined her life’s journey. It has been echoed that “Diane was always a Mother first”. She spent the majority of her career at Bank of America, forming lifelong friendships along the way. Diane’s selflessness and nurturing spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered and was “best friend” to many. Friends and Family are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, March 27th from 9 - 10:30 am at Guilford Funeral Home located at 115 Church Street in Guilford, CT. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 27th at 11 am at St. George’s Catholic Church, 33 Whitfield Street in Guilford, CT. Burial will be held privately.
