Obituary: Jennifer Lynn Caruso (Haas), 57, of Branford
A volunteer & paraprofessional who worked for North Branford schools & YNHH, she enjoyed travel, reading with her book club, & Harley rides.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jennifer Lynn Caruso (Haas) of Branford, CT. Jennifer passed peacefully at home on December 27, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones after a strong fought cancer battle.
Jennifer was born February 20, 1966 in New Haven, CT. She is survived by her loving husband Anthony of 10 years, and her children Jessica (Mitchel) Bertini, Kimberly Mirto, Albert Mirto and her step daughter Brittany (Anthony) Valentino. She is also survived by her grandson Coleson Bertini and step granddaughter Gianna Valentino. Jennifer is survived by her father Walter Crocker, sister, Pam (Jeff) Fair, brothers, Fred Haas, and John (Joy) Haas, and step brother Greg (Teresa) Crocker and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mom, Barbara Crocker.

Jennifer graduated from East Haven High School in 1984. “Know it babe.." She went on to work for many years in different family businesses. Jennifer later went on to work as a paraprofessional in North Branford Public Schools then to Yale New Haven Hospital.
Jennifer had many hobbies; she enjoyed traveling, reading with her book club (10 Vino Girls and a Book), going for walks with her friends, and riding with Anthony and the gang on the Harley. She was a member of North Branford Women’s Club for many years. Jennifer loved helping others and animals. She has volunteered at several different dog rescues and would have adopted all of the dogs if she could. Her dog Charlie will miss her greatly. Jennifer's truest passion was being a mother. She was the best mother anyone could have ever dreamed up. She will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Keenan Funeral Home in North Branford on Tuesday January 2, 2024 from 4pm - 7pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the GSPCA (Grenada Animal Shelter) where her grand-dogs Stella, Tuna, Avery, and Piper are rescued from. In lieu of flowers donations can be made through PayPal or their Amazon wishlist.
