Obituary: Jim Bodle, 56, of Branford

Jim Bodle, 56 years old, of Branford peacefully crossed over after a long illness with his wife by his side holding his hand. He leaves behind, his wife Linn Bodle, his cats Dolly and Misty and his step-daughter Jodie Swiderski of Branford., his sister Cindy Murrell of Watkins Glen, New York. He was pre-deceased by his beloved cats Jazz, Sir Swatter and his heart & soul, Miss Kitty. A special thank you to his team at Home Care Plus, Community Healthcare and Hospice for going above and beyond, Dr Reneka Umashanker, Anthony Capobianco PA and Dr Monica Munteneau for their care and compassion over the years.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-6 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford. Burial will be private. Anyone who wishes can make a donation to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 E. Main St, Branford, CT designated for “For Cat Care in Memory of Jim Bodle”.
