Obituary: Linda Yvonne Barboza, 47, of Branford

Linda Yvonne Barboza of Branford died Tuesday January 23, 2024 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Linda was born in Stamford on April 8, 1976, a daughter of Joan Arrington Barboza of Branford and the late Kenneth C. Barboza. Linda is also survived by her son Xavier Carroll of Waterbury and her brother Robert Barboza of Branford and a host of relatives and friends.

Linda was a 1994 graduate of Branford High School where she was a member of the first BHS girls’ varsity soccer team. She enjoyed music and played the flute. Linda was a very friendly, vivacious woman who always tried to be helpful to anyone she met. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday February 3, 2024 at St. Stephen’s A. M. E. Zion Church, 31 Rogers Street, Branford at 11:00. Burial will follow in Branford Center Cemetery.
