Obituary: Michele Smith, 60, of Branford

Michele Smith, 60, passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, at her home in Branford, CT on November 26, 2023. Michele was born in Bridgeport on June 7th, 1963.

Those who knew Michele knew that she would give the shirt off her back for anyone, and made it her life mission to help other people before herself. Her daughter Samantha and grandson Sal were her true pride and joy and her reason for living. She loved spending her weekends babysitting her grandson, soaking up the summer sun at Cosey Beach, or lounging with her cat, Bentley and more recently, Enzo.

Michele is survived by her daughter, Samantha Betulia, her son-in-law, James Betulia, her grandson, Salvatore Betulia, all of Westbrook, CT, and two sisters, Valerie Cormier of Naugatuck and Peggy Magdon of Milford, and one brother, George Magdon, of Stratford.

In Heaven she joins her parents, two sisters & a brother, two nephews, and many friends. She positively impacted every single person she met and will be greatly missed by all.
