Thomas Michael Rose, 68, of Branford passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024. He was born May 13, 1955 in New Haven to the late George and Mary (Gallagher) Rose. Thomas is survived by his five siblings; Kathleen Potter (Robert) of Guilford, George Rose (Frances Ricci) of Watch Hill, RI, James Rose (Margaret) of Guilford, Charles Rose (Gina Klein) of Hamden and Mary Fournier (Robert) of North Haven. He is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and cousins, as well as his only godchild, Diana Rose. His many close friends will miss him.
Tom was an avid sports enthusiast, who not only was a fan but was an active participant in many sports. He enjoyed tossing the ball with his brothers and later on with his nephews. He enjoyed attending sporting events with family and friends. A very special memory was the whiffle ball game in Watch Hill, where we laughed and sang “take me out to the ball game.” In addition to sports, Tom was a big fan of movies & music, and could recite the lines word for word. He was a kind and compassionate person, and all would say he was a pleasure to be with. To know Tom was to love him.
