Obituary: Vincenzo (Vincent) Pascarella, 86, of Branford
A machine operator who worked with his wife at Palma's Deli for decades, he enjoyed playing Italian cards, gardening, eating, casino trips.
Vincenzo (Vincent) Pascarella of Branford passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday April 13, 2024. He was the loving husband of Palma Pascarella of Branford.
He was the father of Carmen Pascarella (Michelle) of Guilford, Clement Pascarella of New Canaan, and Robert Pascarella (MaryBeth) of Stamford. He was the brother of Rosaria Pascarella of Branford, Giuseppine Pascarella of Italy, and Domenico Pascarella of Italy. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Ava, Tyler, Joseph, Sophie, Paiton, Matthew, and Katelyn, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Giovanni, Gino, and Angelo Pascarella.

Vincent was born in Italy on January 19, 1938, a son of Carmine and Rosa Morgillo Pascarella. He was a Machine Operator for Amtek in Wallingford for many years and worked side by side with his wife at Palma’s Deli for decades.
His greatest joy in life was watching his kids and grandkids play soccer, baseball and dancing or playing Italian cards or tombolo. He always found the time to watch and root for his beloved Napoli. He also enjoyed gardening, eating, and casino trips, but most importantly loved being with his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 at St. Mary Church of St. John Bosco Parish in Branford. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.
