No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
Board of education 4 year term

Why are you seeking this office?
I am seeking office to continue to bringing transparency to the school budget. Holding both parties accountable, whether it be the town or the school in regards to mine items. Also making sure there’s equity for all students of Branford to succeed.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The master facilities plan. I intend to make sure every financial decision on that plan is what’s best for both student students and taxpayer.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I have a financial background. I understand the numbers. I also have four kids in three different schools. It gives a broader scope of what’s really happening and what we need to work on.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Making sure every student has a voice to their success. Whether that be heading out to the workforce, college preparedness or technical certification.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have been on every hiring committee for central office. I was on the superintendent hiring committee. I worked with Laura in regards to our strategic coherence plan. I was also on the master facilities committee.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Failure shapes your success. How you reflect and build yourself up after a failure will help shape your future.
