A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Branford, according to police.
BRANFORD, CT — A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning in Branford, according to police.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Montowese Street, according to police.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and was cooperative.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition, according to police.

“We appreciate the community's patience with traffic delays while our officers were in the roadway investigating this crash,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
