Report: Branford Train Station Now 700 Days Past Deadline

Branford, CT - The long awaited train station in Branford hit another setback.

According to a report in The New Haven Independent, the station, which was expected to open on July 15, is once again delayed. This time the delay is due to the late ordering of parts by a subcontractor, according to the report.

The Branford Train Station project was announced in 2008 and had an original completion date of 2011.

Department of Transportation Chief Inspector Mark Fullerton told the Independent that the project is now 700 days past due.
