Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Karin has been making masks since the beginning of the pandemic. She does not expect anything in return she just wants everyone safe. She has made countless masks for friends, family members, frontline workers anyone in need. She has shown our community what it means to be selfless and represents what the phrase “we are all in this together” looks like. She has used her skills and experience from the world of The Arts and Theater to create protection for many of us in our community and beyond. She has been a bright spot for all of us showing that compassion for your neighbor is alive and well in our shoreline town. Gratitude and appreciation for her efforts during this trying time are understatements. She is most certainly a hero in her own right.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Karin has a big heart, filled with compassion, kindness and a lot of love for her community.
