Work Moving Quickly on Walsh School Renovation in Branford

School is out for the summer and work is going on fast and furious on the exterior of the middle school to get it ready.

BRANFORD, CT - School is over and work is moving quickly on the major renovation project at the Frances Walsh Intermediate School. A drive by the school in recent days shows crews working all around the exterior of the school.

A groundbreaking for the $88.2 million project took place on June 7th, attended by local and state officials.

The school serves Branford's grades 5 - 8 public school.

The $88.2 million alteration/extension project, bonded by the town, will receive a $30 million state reimbursement.
