You Can Go Home Again: John Spignesi Band Back In Town This Month
On May 31, son of Branford, John Spignesi, brings his band back to town to perform at Stony Creek Brewery for Memorial Day Weekend.

BRANFORD, CT — Branford native and guitarist John Spignesi and his band, aptly named the John Spignesi Band (JSB), are celebrating their ninth year.
The band, with Spignesi on guitar, Joe Jeffery on bass and Matt Alling on drums, has a show at Stony Creek Brewery May 31.
Spignesi founded his band in 2015 and since, they have played at music festivals "all over." But playing in Branford is special.

As he said last year, "There’s a level of pride I have when it comes to playing in my hometown ... there really is nothing like playing in Branford. Call it cheesy, but it’s home and always will be."
The band performs a wide variety of music including covers of the Allman Brothers, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, but the band's focus is on original rock tunes written by Spignesi, 70-plus to date.
