2025 Citywide Spelling Bee In Bridgeport Thursday
The top student spellers from across the district are scheduled to compete.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport Public Schools will host its annual Citywide Spelling Bee Thursday evening, according to officials.
The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the JFK Campus Gymnasium (High Horizons/Multicultural) on Palisade Avenue in Bridgeport. Registration and refreshments will run from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Top student spellers from across the district are scheduled to participate in the event, which showcases an evening of academic competition and community celebration.
"This annual event highlights the hard work and dedication of students, families, and educators throughout Bridgeport," officials said in a statement. "It’s an opportunity to recognize academic achievement and the spirit of friendly competition."
