234 Grams of Cocaine Seized By Police In Bridgeport
One suspect has been arrested in connection with the case, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport police raid at a home on Armstrong Place on Thursday led to the seizure of 234 grams of cocaine and the arrest of a 65-year-old Bridgeport man on narcotics charges, according to authorities.
Members of the Bridgeport Police Department’s Narcotics and Vice Division executed the search and seizure warrant just before 2 p.m. at 3 Armstrong Place, as part of an investigation into illegal narcotics sales.
"During the investigation, it was revealed that 65-year-old Carlos Batista, of Bridgeport, was dealing large amounts of cocaine from a trailer on his property," wrote Lt. Jonathan A. Duharte in a statement.

The investigation led the narcotics unit to obtain the search and seizure warrant, which led to Thursday's raid.

During the search, narcotics officers seized the following items:
- 234 grams of cocaine
- $1,366.00 US Currency
- (1) Digital Scale
- Packaging Materials
Batista was taken into custody, and was charged with the following:
- Possession with intent to sell narcotic substances
- Operation of a drug factory
He is being held in lieu of bail of $100,000.
