3 Children Struck, Injured By Vehicle In Bridgeport: Police
The crash, involving children aged 7, 8 and 11, occurred Wednesday on Park Avenue and South Frontage Road, according to authorities. Update.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Three children ages 7, 8 and 11 were injured Wednesday when they struck by a vehicle while they were in a crosswalk on Park Avenue and South Frontage Road in Bridgeport, according to police.
The crash occurred at about 8:45 a.m., and the children were taken to Bridgeport Hospital, suffering from injuries that are not considered to be a threat to their lives.
"The operator of the striking vehicle remained on the scene," wrote Bridgeport Deputy Police Chief James Baraja.
