$30,000 Won By Bridgeport Resident With Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The lucky ticket was sold in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $30,000 richer this month after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket purchased in Stratford, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Feb. 10, the person claimed a winning $30,000 Cashword ticket that was bought at a Wheels gas station on Lordship Boulevard.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in June 2024, and as of Wednesday, 16 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 11.4 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.74.
