Black Rock PorchFest 2023 Set For This Weekend

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The annual Black Rock PorchFest celebration is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, according to organizers.

The annual event offers music from residents properties throughout Black Rock; click here to view an interactive map of locations. In case of inclement weather, the rain date is Sunday.

More than 50 bands and musicians are expected to perform during the free event, and organizers ask attendees to behave.

"Our philosophy is that Black Rock is not just a location, but a community," officials wrote on Facebook. "You don’t have to live here to be part of the neighborhood, but you do need to show it some respect.

"Remember to be kind, courteous, and always leave no trace!"

In addition to the music, food trucks will be circling the neighborhoods offering delicious meals.

The finale of the event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at St. Ann Field, with Residual Groove and friends set to perform, reported the Connecticut Post.
