Bridgeport To Host 32nd Annual Juneteenth Parade & Harambee Festival
The event, which is in partnership with Juneteenth of Fairfield County, is scheduled for Saturday at Seaside Park in Bridgeport.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The City of Bridgeport and Juneteenth of Fairfield County are teaming up to host the 32nd annual Juneteenth Parade & Harambee Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday in Seaside Park in Bridgeport.
Dr. Immacula Cann is the parade's Grand Marshal, and the event will feature the Denzel Washington School of Performing Arts Marching Band; The Chill Project; New Beginnings Drum & Bugle Corps; Magic Soul Marching Band; and others.
Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim is scheduled to join Cann and other officials at the event, which will also feature ethnic and vegan food trucks and African-inspired retail vendors.
