Bridgeport Liquor Store Hit With $20,000 In Fines For Sales To Minors
The punishment was recently handed down by the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport-based Julianne's Wines & Liquors was recently fined $20,000 by the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission for violations including selling alcohol to minors, the commission announced.
Additionally, the liquor store, which is at 2669 Fairfield Ave. in Bridgeport's Black Rock section, also had its permit suspended for three days in March, on the 24th, 25th and 26th.
The Connecticut Post reported that the commission received complaints in September 2024 that the store selling to teenagers, and an enforcement agent staked out the store in October and observed a pair of teenage girls illegally purchase liquor.

The girls told the agent that they were 15 years old.
