Bridgeport Man, 3 Juveniles Arrested On Illegal Firearm Charges: PD
The incident occurred Wednesday following a motor vehicle stop by Bridgeport police.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 32-year-old Bridgeport man and three juveniles were arrested Wednesday on illegal firearm charges following a motor vehicle stop by Bridgeport police.
Officers pulled over Andre J. Lewison after spotting his vehicle with illegally tinted windows and license plates which could not be seen.
"Lewison was accompanied by three (3) juveniles in the vehicle," wrote Bridgeport Police Sgt. Julio Diez in a statement. "Within the vehicle, Officers located a loaded black handgun with laser, which was later found to be a stolen gun."

The handgun, a Stoeger STR-9C, had a 13-round magazine, which was loaded with 13 live 9mm rounds. It had been reported stolen in North Carolina, according to Bridgeport police.
The four were taken into custody, and were charged with the following:

- Carrying pistol without permit
- Weapons in motor vehicle
- Stealing a firearm
- Illegal possession of large capacity firearm
- Illegal alteration of firearm indents
- Criminal possession of a firearm
Lewison was additionally charged with the following:
- Failure to display plates
- Tinted auto glass
- Risk of injury to a child (2 counts)
- Reckless endangerment, 2nd degree
The juveniles were issued summons and released to their parents. Court dates for the juveniles were not immediately available.
Lewison was released after posting bond on bail of $25,000, and he is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on March 28.
