Bridgeport Police To Hold Community Outreach Event Thursday
The event, featuring Bridgeport Police Capt. Lonnie Blackwell, will be held at Bridgeport's Beardsley Branch Library.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Bridgeport Police Department will host a Community Outreach event from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the city's Beardsley Branch Library, 2536 East Main St.
Capt. Lonnie Blackwell will be the event's guest speaker.
"This event is an opportunity for residents to connect with local officers, discuss community concerns, and learn more about how the Bridgeport Police Department is working to keep our neighborhoods safe," authorities wrote in a statement. "We encourage everyone to come, ask questions, and share feedback."
