Bridgeport Resident Wins PLAY4 Lottery Prize

The lucky ticket was sold in East Hartford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in East Hartford, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Monday, the person claimed a winning PLAY4 ticket that was bought at Atz Mart on Burnside Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.

The game, which costs $0.50 to $5 per wager, offers prizes from $14 to $25,000.

There are two PLAY4 drawings each day, and overall odds of winning vary.
