Fire Reported At Former High School In Bridgeport: FD
The blaze was discovered on Monday afternoon, according to fire officials.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A fire was extinguished at the former Harding High School on Central Avenue in Bridgeport on Monday afternoon, according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported in connection with the small fire, which occurred on the third floor of the empty building.
The Bridgeport Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.

Originally built in the 1920s, the old Harding High School has been closed for the past seven years, after the city opened a new Harding High School on Bond Street in 2018.
The former building is being considered to house a new pre-k through 8th grade school.
