Infant Dies After Reported Drowning In Bridgeport: Authorities

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An infant died after a reported drowning overnight in Bridgeport, according to authorities.
Emergency personnel received a call about a possible drowning around 9 p.m. Saturday on Orland Street, city officials said, adding the child was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and pronounced dead.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this tragic time,” officials said in a news release.
