New Interactive Playground Opens at St. Vincent's Special Needs Services

Featuring interactive panels, sensory-friendly equipment for children of all abilities

On Monday, St. Vincent's Special Needs Services Special Education School in Trumbull in Trumbull hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open its brand-new accessible playground, featuring adaptive equipment and sensory-friendly spaces, that give every child the opportunity to play, explore and grow together.

The school offers an alternative placement to school systems and families for children ages three to 22 with multiple developmental and/or medical needs such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, seizure disorders, neuromotor diseases and/or medical conditions requiring nursing support services.
