The Connecticut Lottery notes that winners’ names are now kept private unless they give written consent, and explains that PLAY4 offers multiple daily drawings with prizes up to $25,000.

These are the 'Best Maternity Hospitals' in CT, according to U.S. News & World Report (nhregister.com) — Bridgeport Hospital and St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport both earned recognition from U.S. News & World Report for strong maternity care, alongside several other Connecticut facilities. The ratings focus on outcomes for uncomplicated pregnancies, including C-section and episiotomy rates, breastfeeding support, and other quality measures that expectant parents in the region may want to compare.
   

3. Former Stratford High teacher now charged with trafficking stolen vehicles online (ctpost.com) — A former Stratford High School teacher is facing new forgery and vehicle-theft related charges after a DMV investigation into alleged fraudulent online car sales, with multiple stolen vehicles seized. He remains free on bond from an earlier case and is scheduled to appear at state Superior Court in Bridgeport, a proceeding Bridgeport-area residents may see on upcoming court dockets.
   

4. Milford police honor civilian for bravery in rescuing injured man (wtnh.com) — A Milford resident’s quick action at Gulf Beach helped save an unconscious man who had fallen into the water and was being pulled by the current, and he was later treated at Bridgeport Hospital. Milford police have honored Patrick Smith with a Civil Commendation, praising his bravery and fast response that likely prevented a tragedy.
   

5.
