Pedestrian Entrapped, Seriously Injured In Bridgeport Crash: Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A woman who was struck by a vehicle became temporarily entrapped and suffered serious injuries Thursday morning, according to Bridgeport police.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. near the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Main Street.

After being freed, the victim was transported to an area hospital, where she is being treated.
