Pedestrian Injured In Collision With Vehicle In Bridgeport: Police

The crash occurred Monday night, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A pedestrian suffered multiple injuries Monday night after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Boston and Kent avenues in Bridgeport, according to police.

The person was taken to Bridgeport Hospital following the 9:15 p.m. crash, and was treated for a large laceration to the right thigh, injury to the left toe, and multiple abrasions on the left arm.

When police arrived on the scene, the pedestrian in a prone position at the intersection and conscious, and was being assisted by American Medical Response personnel and members of the Bridgeport Fire Department.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigation, according to police.
