Pride Month March Scheduled In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport will celebrate Pride month with the annual Pride March and Unity in the Park Festival on Saturday, June 21, according to organizers Greater Bridgeport Pride.

The march line up begins at 1 p.m. at the colorful Broad Street steps, at the corner of Elm Street, and steps off at 2 p.m.

Following the march at 3 p.m. the Unity in the Park Festival begins in Wheeler Park behind City Hall on Golden Hill Street.

Mayor Joe Ganim, Executive Director of the Bridgeport Pride Center Marcus Brown, Members of the Bridgeport Pride Center and Pride Committee, Elected Officials, and Community Members are expected to attend.
