Scooter Rider Injured In Collision With Vehicle In Bridgeport: Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A scooter operator suffered a broken leg and other injuries Thursday afternoon in a collision with a vehicle near the intersection of East Main and Clarence streets in Bridgeport, according to police.

Details of the 3:30 p.m. crash were not immediately available, but the victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the motor vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, said Shawnna White, the city's Public Information Officer.
