Bridgeport Police Issue Warning For Upcoming Test

Some Bridgeport residents may be impacted during the test, police said.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Aquarion Water Company will be conducting a Fire Flow Test in Bridgeport from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, which could impact some residents, according to Bridgeport police.

"During and after this scheduled fire flow test, some customers may experience discolored water or no water," officials wrote on Facebook.

Residents may want to use stored water for drinking and cooking Tuesday night, and delay clothes washing until water is clear.

To flush out any discoloration, residents should run the cold-water faucet until the water appears clear. This should be done prior to resuming use.
