1 Injured When SUV Crashes Through Front Door Of Brookfield Salon
First responders found the injured driver still inside a large SUV after it crashed through the front door of a Brookfield Salon.
BROOKFIELD, CT — A motorist was injured after driving their car into a hair salon Thursday.
Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company and EMS got the call at 2:35 p.m. First responders found a large SUV through the front door of the Elevate salon at 28 Old Route 7, with the injured driver still inside.
Crews then worked to stabilize the car and the building to ensure the driver could be safely removed. The patrons of the salon were all evaluated by EMS but uninjured, according to a social media post by BVFC officials.

The driver was the lone occupant of the car, and was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment.
The crash is being investigated by Brookfield building officials and the Brookfield Fire Marshal's Office.
