Overland Crossing Apartment Community Begins Leasing In Brookfield Town Center District

Overland Crossing is now leasing in Brookfield, offering new apartments and amenities in the town's revitalized Town Center.

BROOKFIELD, CT — A new apartment community tied to Brookfield’s long-term Town Center redevelopment plans has begun leasing, marking another step in the town’s effort to create a more walkable, mixed-use downtown.

Overland Crossing, a residential development in the Town Center District, is now accepting tenants, project officials said in a statement released Wednesday. The property includes studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments designed with modern interiors and upscale finishes.

According to the announcement, the apartments feature open layouts, quartz countertops, gourmet kitchens and private balconies. The development also includes a range of shared amenities, such as a fitness center, coworking space, coffee bar, outdoor fire pits, landscaped walking paths and secure below-grade parking. The community is pet-friendly and includes smart home technology.

Brookfield Economic Development Director Greg Dembowski said the project supports the town’s broader vision for revitalizing its downtown area.

“Overland Crossing brings new life and energy to our downtown and is a bold step forward for Brookfield’s future,” Dembowski said in the release. “It redefines apartment living in Brookfield.”

The development is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and services in the Town Center District, with additional access to nearby retail areas, parks and major highways. Developers said the location is intended to combine neighborhood walkability with regional accessibility.

Prospective tenants can schedule private tours or view leasing information online, according to the announcement.
