2013 Penguin Plunge: Freezing for a Reason

The annual Penguin Plunge drew 160 people willing to strip down on a 40-degree windy day to jump into the 36-degree waters of Candlewood Lake.

The Penguin Plunge drew a crowd and a bunch of fairly crazy people Saturday willing not only to jump into near-freezing water, but also willing to stand around in 40-degree air in the wind.

The annual event raises money for the Special Olympics.
