26 Townhouses Proposed in Brookfield: Report
The proposal was submitted before the 8-30g moratorium.

BROOKFIELD, CT — A proposal to build 26 townhouses in Brookfield which includes affordable housing has been submitted before the town's affordable moratorium went into effect, reports the News Times. The development would be located on 9.5 acres at 70 Stony Hill Road, and is one of several developments recently proposed through state statute 8-30g.
The town was approved for an affordable housing moratorium, but this and other proposals were submitted before the proposal went into effect.
First Selectmen Steve Dunn said the project would not ordinarily permitted under the town's zoning laws.
