6 Sent To Hospital After Fire At Brookfield Day Care: Report

BROOKFIELD, CT — Two children and four adults were taken to the hospital for evaluation following an attic fire at a home day care on Junction Road around 8:45 a.m. Thursday, according to a report on News 12 Connecticut.

Brookfield Assistant Fire Chief Jesse Fry told Hearst that two of the adults were firefighters.

The home is not currently habitable due to fire, smoke and water damage, and the fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, according to the report from the News-Times.
