Brookfield GOP Seeks Candidates For 2025 Municipal Election

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Republican Town Committee is seeking candidates for several municipal offices and commissions in the town’s November 2025 election.

Positions up for election include:

• First Selectman
• Selectman
• Board of Finance
• Board of Education
• Zoning and Planning Commission
• Zoning Board of Appeals
• Board of Assessment Appeals

The BRTC’s Vacancy Committee will conduct interviews with interested candidates in the coming weeks before presenting a recommended slate to the full 35-member committee. Terms of service vary by position.

The BRTC’s recommended candidates will be presented at a Republican caucus in July, which is open to all registered Republicans in Brookfield. The location and time will be announced at a later date.
