Brookfield Launches First-Ever Restaurant Week With Dozens Of Eateries Participating
Brookfield is launching its first Restaurant Week, showcasing a growing and diverse local dining scene.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Brookfield is launching its first Restaurant Week, showcasing a growing and diverse local dining scene with a growing list of participating restaurants and a weeklong slate of specials, discounts and prize giveaways.
The promotion will run from June 12 to June 21, following a kickoff "Sip & Savor" event at the Candlewood Inn. The celebration is the town’s latest effort to support small businesses and highlight the expanding array of restaurants along Federal Road and throughout the community.
Community development specialist Greg Dembowski said the idea for Brookfield Restaurant Week came from a marketing professional behind similar events in Danbury, Southbury and Newtown. Dembowski said he quickly realized the timing was right for Brookfield to get involved.
“As I thought about all the new restaurants that have opened, especially along the Federal Road corridor, and how I’ve heard comments from residents about a lack of variety, it became clear we actually have a lot of great options — from fine dining to fast casual,” he said.

Participating eateries include casual staples like Dairy Queen and Froggy's Deli, as well as locally owned destinations such as Munchin Hedgehog, Del Primo, and Pulcinella's Wood-Fired Pizza. Diners can find prix fixe menus, one-time-only offerings, and discounts across breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Incentives are also built in. Customers who visit participating restaurants can enter a drawing for $1,200 in prizes. Full details and restaurant listings are available at brookfieldrestaurantweek.com.
The event will be introduced to the public at the town’s annual Block Party on June 8, where organizers will host a Restaurant Week tent.

The 2025 edition of the town’s Block Party is set to feature over 60 vendors, live music and food trucks along a closed stretch of Old Route 7. Dembowski said the popular event has already sold out vendor space and is expected to draw more than 1,200 attendees.
The back-to-back events reflect what Dembowski called a growing enthusiasm for community-building and business promotion in Brookfield.
“We’re doing this for the first time, so success will really be measured by the feedback we get from residents and restaurant owners,” he said. “But there’s a lot of excitement already, and I think it’s going to be a great showcase of what Brookfield has to offer.”
