BROOKFIELD, CT - "Remember, don’t talk to strangers!" That’s one of those parental warnings we all heard growing up. But now we’re adults, and we often find ourselves sitting in a waiting room or standing in a grocery line, with our eyes on our smartphones, avoiding eye contact. Are we missing out on one of the joys of life, and opportunities to make our days or the days of someone else richer? As we invest in a more publicly accessible Brookfield, will we take advantage of these new social spaces?

Join Wendy Youngblood at the next TEDx Brookfield Salon, and discover hidden connections--some right under your feet and at the tips of your fingers--in “Talking to Strangers.” With a brief intro to TEDx and four TED talks, discover what connects you in the discussions following the films.
