After some delay (awards are usually presented in the first week of July), the Brookfield Town Clerk’s Office has announced 2014’s Top Dog and raffle winners.
This year’s Top Dog is McDuff (pictured above), registered and submitted for the contest by owner Pam Mannion.
Along with McDuff as Top Dog, there were also 11 raffle winners, with prizes to be awarded at a special ceremony Monday morning in the Town Hall lobby.
This year’s raffle winners are:

- Bailey, owner Vincent Mitchell
- Collette, owner Robert Tomaselli
- Sophie, owner Alison Gianazza
- Buffy, owner Tracey Page
- Blue, owner Gloria Schneider
- Emmit, owner Lori Peck
- Emmett, owner Liz Burandt
- Chase, owner Kaitlyn Burnell
- Jake, owner Troy Gozzi
Town Clerk Joan Locke apologized for the delay in this year’s awards, citing “extenuating circumstances.”
Locke also thanked this year’s sponsors: Brookfield Animal Hospital, Wagon Train, Paw Print, Magic Touch and Pet Supplies Plus.
The 2014 Top Dog award ceremony will Monday, July 28, at 10 a.m. in the Town Hall front entrance lobby.
