BROOKFIELD, CT — There has been a significant uptick in stolen vehicles and thefts from vehicles throughout Brookfield over the past week, police warned residents on social media.

Several vehicles have been stolen, and numerous unlocked vehicles have been entered and items removed, according to police.

  2. Remove and secure your keys
    1. Keep them on your person if away from home
    1. If they are modern fob-type keys, place them in a Faraday bag or box in the house
  3. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle
  4. Report any suspicious activity to police – immediately when you see or hear it
