Brookfield Pop Warner JV Cheer Team Wins National Championship

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Pop Warner JV Cheer Team was named national champions last week at a competition in Florida.

Brookfield Pop Warner and First Selectman Tara Carr congratulated the Bobcats and their coaches/cheer coordinator in Facebook posts.

The Pop Warner National Cheer and Dance Championships were Dec. 6-8 in Orlando, Florida. The national championship features more than 500 of the nation's top youth cheerleading and dance teams each year, according to the Pop Warner website.
