BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Republican Town Committee has announced its endorsed slate of candidates for the upcoming November 2025 municipal election following a caucus held July 16. The event gathered local Republicans who supported candidates emphasizing fiscal responsibility, community values, and transparent governance.

The candidates include Karl Hinger for first selectman and Alan Donnelly for selectman. For the Board of Education, the endorsed candidates are Joy Greenstein, Erin Scalera, and Andy Corea. The Board of Finance slate includes Michael Barnes, John Mascolo, Glenn Rooney, and Brianna Ruocco.

For the Planning and Zoning Commission, Geoff Hunton, Dionisio Fontana, Gregory Petriccione, and Elliott Morales, who is running for a two-year term, received endorsements. The Zoning Board of Appeals candidates are Liam Enea, Andrew Koehm, and Terrance Petiprin, while Jeffrey Bronn is endorsed for the Board of Assessment Appeals.

The committee expressed confidence that the candidates will provide leadership that reflects the priorities of Brookfield residents. In a news release, organizers thanked volunteers and vote checkers who contributed to the smooth running of the caucus and said they look forward to campaigning as a unified Republican team this fall.
