Brookfield Resident Involved in Serious 2 Car Crash in Danbury
Danbury Police are looking for witnesses to a two-car crash Tuesday that injured drivers from Brookfield and Ridgefield.

Danbury Police received word of a serious accident on Sugar Hollow Road just south of the Wooster Heights exit at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said Lidia Duarte, of Brookfield, was driving a 2003 Honda CR-V southbound on Sugar Hollow Road and Hazel Capella, of Ridgefield, was driving a 2004 Subaru Impreza northbound. Police said Capella lost control of her car and crossed into the southbound lane, causing a collision with Duarte’s vehicle.
Occupants of both vehicles were transported by ambulance to Danbury Hospital for injures sustained in the collision.
