Danbury Police received word of a serious accident on Sugar Hollow Road just south of the Wooster Heights exit at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. Police said Lidia Duarte, of Brookfield, was driving a 2003 Honda CR-V southbound on Sugar Hollow Road and Hazel Capella, of Ridgefield, was driving a 2004 Subaru Impreza northbound. Police said Capella lost control of her car and crossed into the southbound lane, causing a collision with Duarte's vehicle.  Occupants of both vehicles were transported by ambulance to Danbury Hospital for injures sustained in the collision. Any witnesses are asked to contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco or P.O. Matt Georgoulis at 203-797-2157, the Danbury Police Department.
