Catherine Lee Sexton, 50, of Brookfield, Passed Away
Cathy owned In Fashion Jewelry and Accessories in Southbury, and recently worked as a salesperson for Really Good Stuff in Monroe.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Catherine Lee Sexton, 50, of Brookfield, formerly of Southbury, died peacefully at Regional Hospice and Homecare Center on Saturday, July 30th. She was born in the Bronx, NY on September 17, 1965, beloved daughter of Marlene (Muzzillo) Sexton of Danbury and the late Thomas Sexton.
Cathy had previously owned and operated In Fashion Jewelry and Accessories in Southbury, and most recently worked as a salesperson for Really Good Stuff in Monroe. For several years she was a stay at home mom who enjoyed being involved in her children's activities. She was a past member of the Southbury PTO and helped the with the school fundraising. She also enjoyed supporting youth cheerleading in Southbury.
Cathy had a friendly and outgoing personality. She loved to talk and share stories with everyone. Though her illness caused many challenges, Cathy chose to live as best she could, facing each day with determination.

In addition to her mother, Marlene, she will be sadly missed by her siblings, Marla Ehrhard and her husband, Danny, Tom Sexton and his wife, Caterina, Cynthia Haddad, Robert Sexton, and Tara Sexton; her three children, Alena, Sabrina and Sofia Dale. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, an aunt, two uncles, and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, August 4th at 10:30am at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. Burial followed in Mountain View Cemetery.
