Cope for Congress releases a digital video titled "I'll listen - and work for you!"
From The Clay Cope Campaign:
The Clay Cope for Congress campaign has released a digital video message - aimed directly at voters who are tired of career politicians and the costly status quo in DC.
Titled, "I'll listen," the 30-second message opens with the three-term First Selectman on the shoreline of Candlewood Lake, and includes images of the popular public servant talking with constituents in his hometown of Sherman.

Both visual images highlight Cope's customer service background, his caring style of leadership, and his focus on constituent needs and the priorities of the 5th District.
"In this campaign, I've made an issue of my opponent's uncaring attitude and lengthy absence in the 5th District," said Cope. "I've pointed out that Elizabeth Esty has spent more time in New Hampshire and Hawaii than she has in small towns like Sherman. And she not produced any meaningful results of our District in the four years she has been in DC. In fact, things have gotten worse for families in the 5th District."

"I'm Clay Cope, I've spent my life in customer service," he says in the video. "I've helped build a fashion business, created jobs and met a payroll."
"I hear from people all the time -- we just want someone in Washington who will listen. But Elizabeth Esty has only been listening to special interests."
I'm Clay Cope and I approve this message -- because we need leaders in Washington who will listen to everyone."
