Cotton Candy Fabrics Opens Apparel Studio In Brookfield With Launch Event

BROOKFIELD, CT — Cotton Candy Fabrics is expanding its offerings with the launch of The Apparel Studio, a new section of the store dedicated to apparel sewing for both beginners and experienced makers.

The store will host a grand opening event on Friday, Aug. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m., featuring light bites, refreshments, and special promotions. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore high-quality fabrics, sewing patterns, and notions, as well as take advantage of exclusive deals and complimentary gifts.

Sam Donovan, the store’s director of apparel sewing and a former contestant on “Project Runway,” will present a preview of the studio’s new collection. Donovan will also display garments from his time on the fashion competition show.

“I’m excited to share the new Apparel Studio at Cotton Candy Fabrics,” Donovan said in a statement. “This space is designed to inspire creativity, whether you’re just starting out or have been sewing for years. From high-quality fabrics to unique patterns and notions, we want to make garment sewing more accessible and fun.”

Owner Erin Byrne said the studio responds to growing customer demand for quality apparel fabric and design resources.
