Female Juvenile Arrested for DUI After Crash
A female driver under the age of 17 was charged in an accident on Pritten Hill Road.
At 9:07 p.m. on Aug. 5, Brookfield police responded to the area of 15 Pritten Hill Road for a motor vehicle accident. Upon further investigation, officers believed the female juvenile operator was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the time of the crash.
The juvenile later failed field sobriety tests and was arrested and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, failure to carry a license and operation of a motor vehicle by a minor having elevated blood alcohol content.
She was later released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Aug. 19.
